How pricing works

Every job at HearthPlans is a fixed quote agreed before any work starts, so you know the total up front. Two rounds of revisions are included, payment is 50% to start, 50% when the set is complete, before the final files are released, and quotes come back usually within a couple of hours.

Pricing questions

How much do drafting services cost?

Each job is a fixed quote for its scope, agreed before work starts. The main things that set the price are the number of sheets, how much has to be drawn from scratch, and which disciplines are needed. Send what you have and the quote comes back with the price, the sheet list and a delivery date.

Do you bill by the hour?

Not for the agreed scope: that is one fixed price. Only work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately as a change order.

What is included in the price?

The drawings in the agreed sheet list, two rounds of revisions, and the final files: layered DWG and DXF and a plotted PDF set.

How do I pay?

50% to start, 50% when the set is complete, before the final files are released.

How fast is a quote?

Usually within a couple of hours of receiving the scope. A typical residential set is then delivered in 3 to 5 business days.
